CAD

Hi guys, here are some CAD drawings that could be useful. They're elevations of the Cathedral and plans of the Melbourne grid.

Hope they're helpful

Thanks Emma! Super helpful. :)
Yeah - Em - you are AMAZING!!
Thankyou!

Just a question - i haven't started with my 'built forms' - just wondering what people are doing? ie - a conceptual perspective or full plans/elevations? as to do this for 5 propositions to me is waaaay too overwhelming - hence why i still haven't started :)

Hi Rivkah!

I haven't really settled either on anything - just sketching and scrunching up LOTS of butterpaper.

Remember what Ammon said about giving the idea a 'physical form' - so maybe 1 little model or a sketch perspective for each de facto is enough? As long as it shows that the idea has 'legs' and can be developed? (lots of questions, no answers)

Anyway that's what I'm going by... hope that helps?

sounds like a plan :) - THANKYOU!!!
I am just sketching also! I think I may photograph them to make a powerpoint presentation though. my sketches are mostly conceptual....some sketchy sections, but thats about it. lots of thoughts, not super highly resolved.

I'm also trying to include precedents with each of mine, although not all these projects are rooted in architecture.

Thanks for the cad drawings, Emma!!

My only comment would be that it depends on the project and what YOU think is important A
Thankyou! amazingg! I was trying to hunt for a 3d model of the cathedral online (just trying my luck). realised that google earth has it!
Hi Emma, just wanted to know where you got those DWGS from? I tried to open them on AutoCad and Vectorworks on mac, but it didn't work - will have to try and hunt down a compatible version then...
