Thanks for posting it up, Am!

I'm having problems understanding this brief maybe someone can help me out. I don't understand how do we first create a radical vision of the city in 40 years time and yet have some form of proposed budget. Do we assume then the fluctuating economy as well as other undetermined factors that would essentially affect the value of our budget? Or is the first part of the brief a separate exercise to play around with radical ideals while the second reflects more of a practical and pragmatic aspect of the project in a more realistic period?

Danke

I don't think you should worry about the economic trajectory 40 years from now Euric (maybe I'm wrong? someone pull me up if I am) but I think your second comment nailed it.

The first part is a means of informing the second part by ensuring the project we are proposing now is ensured longevity - structurally, socially, culturally, spiritually and any other 'ally' I've omitted.

First = radical, leaps and bounds forward, imagination, national trajectory...
Second = grounding the thoughts of the first part in a reality...

hey guys,

I am stressing a bit about this as well- do you think there is an expected format for our 2050 vision, or can we represent it any way we want as long as it is on A3? 1 A3 page seems like skimpy space for forty years.

Also, I was wondering if you guys are building digital models to render perspectives of or sketching them? I might do a hybrid?
