i've had a play with the wall detail, but in doing so have probably created more problems than i have solved, although i think the design intent is clearer. any comments would be of great help!

I think you really need to develop up the structure in a big way. Make it beautiful not just utilitarian
Surfaces and patterning of facades, floors walls ceiling need work
Resolve tricky tight spaces,
Some lovely spaces getting there.
The contextual connection to THIS site and the CATHEDRAL is really missing in a big way. This would be the biggest thing to work on especially as it is core to the studio! Lots to still do in this respect. Go back to the site again.
